Have you experienced something mysteriously missing and found, and what would you call that experience?

Example: Have you had the experience of setting an object down on a table in a room, leave the room, return, notice the object is missing, look all over for it, can't find it, but finally return to the first room to find it has been returned to the table where you left it? You have a witness, who experienced it with you, so you are not losing your mind. And the witness was with you at all times, so the witness was not playing a prank. What would you call this experience? How would it be clified? Metaphysics? Mystery? Paranormal phenomena? Psychological experience? Ghost playing a prank on you? What could cause two people to block out seeing the same object at the same time? Is there a scientific explanation? Some of this might not be a perfect fit for Yahoo!
