Apologists: If you believe in an ontological argument, why do you believe it?
The 'state of our world' is not how it is painted in the media, and certainly not how it is painted by one such as yourself. Please, understand that I mean no disrespect when I say that...I am merely stating a truth. Perspective is in your hands- it is your choice to see the world as 'negative' or 'positive'. Understand that true awareness comes from surrendering to Higher Consciousness- that 'great possible being' you speak of- and acknowledging that it is the fabric of everything, including 'good' and 'evil'. Indeed, without evil, good would not exist. It is important to acknowledge that 'man' is simply a manifestation of the Spirit and that his 'free will' is a pivotal part of his journey, just like the ego. The conscious mind is a preset handicap but it serves a purpose- one cannot overcome his conditioned mentality without being conditioned in the first place. Realize that there is purpose to everything in this reality- without suffering and evil, we could not progress. Think how the world would be today if the Holocaust had never happened- if slavery had never happened. It was VITAL to our soul evolution!! "God" is everything you see and do not see- negative and positive, yin and yang, suffering and blessing, male and female, matter and anti-matter. You cannot have whole without two halves. You must understand that omnipotent and evil and omnipotent and good are one in the same as they eventually transition into one another. It is Universal truth...nothing is ever stationary, everything is in constant transition and all based on levels of consciousness.
