Physical Therapy?
I fell and my ACL is swollen and the cartilage has slid in my left knee. I was told when I was nine that I had the knees of a 78 year old man. I have a PE excuse so I don't run, but I dance ballet. This injury has set me off from dancing ballet for almost 2 months now. I just started getting physical therapy and the doctor says I have to be very careful when I start dancing again at the end of June. My main question is can I go back to dance without being horrible since I haven't been dancing for so long? They make me come watch cl and rehearsals so I didn't miss anything if it turned out that I could preform. Should I keep dancing? You have no idea how much I miss it and I'm takin a two week intensive n August in San Francisco if I can dance. I've been told that I probably will get asked to stay the rest of the year with the company cles, getting to preform with them the year after. I'm only 14 and would love this opportunity. Can I? Knees are majorly used in ballet & pointe.
