Grandmother doesn't like granddaughter or want much to do with her.....help?

Well, it's her loss, not yours or the baby's, that's for sure. She needs to learn to accept. If she can't do that, then to heck with her. It's not your daughter's fault, and it's not your fault. I think the best thing would be to talk to your husband and have him talk to her about this, because if your daughter sees her favoring other grandchildren over her, that will hurt her, and she does not deserve that at all. If you try to talk to her, she'll let it go in one ear and out the other. Let your husband talk to her, and if she still doesn't change the way she feels about this, I say let her go and keep your daughter away from her.
