Calculating k (Stiffness) using graph values?

Outside of a {unknown reason for change in variable from x to y?} slight confusion of x=>y terms, U seem to be correct. I'd have preferred to have more description of what these graph value/s represented. Ex: that this was a beam of negligible weight loaded at the center with a m = m and max deflection = x.
